This beta is very different from the rest, as the “Private Investigator” Project appears to be a long-term project, albeit on a much smaller scale. The goal? Possibly to test that everything in the game is working properly, both for existing content and content currently in development.
What sets it apart from the existing beta for Dichotomy: Retrace is that, in this case, it appears you won’t be able to share the beta, and you’ll also have to sign an NDA.
This is a pretty special beta—it comes after the third or fourth beta, on a smaller scale and with contracts being signed… It really looks like this could be the last one. Remember that it was leaked some time ago that the Silver Palace might launch very early next year.
