The community has been in a constant uproar ever since the possibility of paid buffs in Honkai: Star Rail was mentioned. And don’t get me wrong—I get it; I’ll always see anything paid in that regard as a crap. But at the end of the day, companies are companies, and you know how HoYoverse operates.
However, it looks like we might be able to get one of the three Ex-Eidolons (that’s what these buffs are called) for free. Remember that, in principle, they would be for Acheron, Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae, and Jing Yuan.
Current information and rumors (keep in mind that these may change at any time) suggest that the rest would indeed be paid content and that they might be obtainable through top-up events.
If any new information comes up, we’ll be here. If you want to learn more about other buffs in Honkai: Star Rail, we’ve published an article on Novaflares.
