The collaboration between Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero continues to be the talk of the town. It must be one of the most talked-about topics in recent months in the communities for both games.
We’ve had a lot of speculation about whether Ellen Joe or Astra Yao would be the free character to be added to the Honkai Universe, and it seems we finally have a sort of confirmation in the form of a leak and a change.
Although everything seemed to indicate it would be Ellen Joe, a surprise announcement came out today confirming that the free character will be Astra Yao.
To be honest, I personally thought Ellen Joe would have been a better fit as a free character, given her lesser importance to the Community, but I’m glad they’re giving a character that so many people love—like Astra Yao—to the Community.
We’ll soon learn more about what these two characters can do, as well as Astra Yao’s path and element—see you very soon!
