The news about the Liyue character for this year’s Lantern Rite keep changing—first, there were rumors that she was a bow user and a Pyro character, and now everything has taken a turn, and it seems like the character will be completely different, or that we might even already know who she is.
First of all, keep in mind that this leak is HIGHLY subject to change, we already had lots of info about this character, and we have to be patient, but let’s talk about her. Take this with grain of salt.
The character’s name should be Yunyan, and she wouldn’t be a Pyro character after all—she’d end up being Hydro.
She would serve as a buffer for Liyue teams, earning stacks for the buffs based on normal attacks; however, if the team consists of four Liyue characters, the buff would be applied automatically.
We still don’t really know what she looks like, although many have started speculating that she might be the Adeptus we met at the Moonchase Festival. We’ll see how it all plays out. You’ll find all the information right here.
