The urban video game genre is booming, and so are open-world gacha games, so when you combine the two, you get one of the most promising games out there: Wang Yue (Moon Gaze).
It’s a game that joins the urban-themed ecosystem already home to Zenless Zone Zero, NTE, and the upcoming Ananta (even though Ananta isn’t actually a gacha game).
It’s an absolutely oversaturated market these days, but honestly, watching the trailer leaves you speechless for a few moments—it’s so well-made and eye-catching that it’s sure to make an impression on everyone, it is not just another GTA like.
Graphically, it’s amazing—the game oozes freedom from every pore, and you can tell a lot of love went into it. A true open-world action RPG that embraces its freedom.
The only problem? It’s just a trailer, so all we can do is wait for the first betas and confirmation of a release date. I’d guess 2027, but we’ll just have to wait and see. See you soon with more!
