The Wuthering Waves Version 3.8 Special Broadcast has concluded, bringing new information about the upcoming update, including the introduction of Lily, character banners, events, and several other information. Here’s a complete recap of everything revealed during the livestream.
Lily: The New Resonator Arriving in Version 3.8
One of the main highlights of the broadcast was Lily, the new Resonator joining Wuthering Waves in Version 3.8.
During the presentation, Kuro Games showcased her amazing gameplay and abilities, keep in mind that she’s a 5-star Spectro Resonator who uses Pistols.

The livestream also revealed the character banners scheduled for Version 3.8, including the Resonators available during each phase.
Phase 1: Lily, Sigrika and Qiuyuan
Phase 2: Xuanling, Suisui and Hiyuki
Alongside the character banners, Kuro Games also shared information about a new compilation banner, another Starpath Reverbs, with a rerun of Camellya, Roccia, Phoebe, and Brant
New Events and Rewards
As usual, Version 3.8 will feature a selection of events offering players additional activities and rewards.
We’ll have a new Tetris-style minigame event, along with Lollo’s return to give us Astrites and materials, and of course, combat events.
Along with these events, and as usual, we’ll have several daily logins to earn extra pulls to unlock our favorite characters.
Quality-of-Life Improvements and Other Changes
Beyond the new characters and events, the presentation also covered several changes and improvements arriving with Version 3.8.
Changes and improvements to the Rover’s item selection, as well as to the Guidebook’s functionality and character recommendations. We’ll also see improvements to farming, along with numerous graphical and animation enhancements and performance and space optimizations.
These are highly anticipated improvements for a game where optimization hasn’t traditionally been a strong point.
New Skin for Hiyuki
As we mentioned a while back, version 3.8 will feature a new skin for Hiyuki, as well as some accessories for her base skin.
Where’s the New Federation in Wuthering Waves?
Since this was a stream about the latest version before the new region, New Federation, we would have expected a trailer about this upcoming area or about the characters who will be joining us there.
However, sadly, we haven’t received any information about what’s coming next to our game.
Wuthering Waves Version 3.8 Release Date
Wuthering Waves Version 3.8, Lilies in a Dying Dream is scheduled to launch on November 12, 2026.
With Lily, the upcoming character banners, new events, and gameplay improvements, the update will introduce another collection of content for players to explore.
