In an era when AI is on everyone’s minds, for better or worse, many companies have been accused of using AI in their video games.
Now we have the case of a major Chinese Giant that has acquired a stake in an AI Company, Kuro Games.
Kuro has recently acquired a 15% stake in “Yanzhiyu Technology Co. Ltd“, the parent company of CN AI Voice Models. Indeed, Liu Sheng, chairman of Kuro Games has joined Yanzhiyu’s board of directors.
From here on, we might notice the use of AI in Kuro’s future projects and as well as for the existing ones (Wuthering Waves and Punishing: Gray Raven).
We will never advocate for the use of generative AI under any circumstances, so hopefully they won’t reach that point.
